Orange Girl
I didn't see any rules against this, so I thought I'd post about it.

There's a new stamping community for Criminal Minds. Fill out the survey and get stamped as the character you're most like.

It's fairly new, so if you do join PLEASE vote.

Master and Commander: HMS Surprise
I was watching an episode shut up, it was totally four episodes in a row of Law and Order, and a friend casually mentioned how much she hated the show now that it has lost it's uniqueness. She said the show was nothing more than a platform for "liberal politics" and that as a conservative viewer, she has given up on a once terrific show.

After I finished throwing things at her, I discovered that her opinions were derived directly from an online article called, "Musn't See Liberal TV", which can be read here.

Thoughts on the article? Honestly, I think people are overanalyzing the show, getting upset about nothing, and forgetting that Law and Order provides damn good entertainment for people like me.

Claude b&w
As the network episodes of Law and Order tonight were repeats, I decided to watch Cold Case on TNT instead. Now, this is a show I have just stared getting into, therefore the repeats offer up a lot of stuff I haven't seen. Oddly enough, this is one of the few crime dramas that doesn't bug the ever-living crap out of me when they touch on the lives of the detectives, because it's usually not too emo - yes, I like my crime dramas all about the crime, for the most part. The real problem with Cold Case is that it is going to pretty much be heartbreaking no matter what, because, well, everyone's fucking dead. This one wasn't any exception, though it actually did manage to have a revelation I never saw coming.

Anyway, that one is definitely highly recommended.

Welcome, everyone, to crime_dramas! We hope that you will enjoy discussing the episodes of all of your favorite television shows here, from the wanktastic to the spectacular. Please read the rules (there are not many) before you post. If you have any questions, feel free to ask - nothing is too terribly stupid to prevent a question, and, if it is, we will just giggle about you privately. We do not have many restrictions, but we do ask that you keep discussions civil.

You may discuss episodes that just aired and older episodes with equal opportunity. As is stated in the rules, our focus is on currently-airing American dramas, but discussion of programs that fall outside this boundary is allowed. So long as they are, well, crime dramas. As it says in the name of the community. *points up*

Feel free to ask any questions right away. Or, you know, mock Elliot Stabler.

Most of all, have fun!
